Maddie Lane Vineyards pays homage to Gail and John Kautz’s granddaughter, Maddie, who represents the fourth generation of one of California’s most prolific farming families.
If you know the powerful love of devoted grandparents, you know that nothing is too good for their grandchildren. With Maddie on the label, wine lovers can rest assured that every aspect of the growing and winemaking process has been meticulously tended by the Kautz family’s remarkable team.
As the graceful, stylized M on each bottle suggests, Maddie Lane Vineyards’ wines are elegant and true and clean. The Old Vine Zinfandel is sourced from estate head-pruned vineyards that exemplify and celebrate the Lodi American ViticulturalAreas signature wine grape. The Chardonnay epitomizes Lodi’s terroir in a fruit-forward and delightfully delicious expression.
Both wines are lightly oaked, allowing the true fruit character of each varietal to shine through to the fullest. Kautz Farms always has employed sustainable practices in all of its vineyards to ensure viability for Maddie and her family and the generations that follow her.
